ABOUT OUR
Pack and Dens
Cub Scouts Pack 588 is a year-round family program for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade, focused on fun, adventure, character development, good citizenship, service, confidence, and personal achievement. Chartered through Ebenezer UCC in New Tripoli, Pack 588 brings families together through den meetings, monthly pack gatherings, outdoor activities, camping, hands-on learning, and opportunities for kids to build friendships while discovering new skills.
In Cub Scouts, kids are encouraged to “Do Your Best” as they work toward age-appropriate ranks, earn badges, explore the outdoors, serve their community, and grow in responsibility, respect, courage, cooperation, and perseverance. Whether they’re fishing, camping, creating, learning, or helping others, Pack 588 gives children a place to belong, grow, and make lasting memories with their families.

ALL ABOUT PACK 588 - New Tripoli Cub Scouts
Pack 588 is made up of age-based dens that help Scouts grow through every stage of Cub Scouting, beginning with Lion Cubs (kindergarten), then Tiger (1st grade), Wolf (2nd grade), Bear (3rd grade), Webelos (4th grade), and Arrow of Light (5th grade). Along the way, Scouts work toward milestones like the Bobcat badge, complete hands-on adventures, earn loops, pins, and badges, and build confidence through outdoor skills, service, leadership, and teamwork. Each den offers age-appropriate challenges and fun while preparing Scouts for the next level, with Arrow of Light serving as the final step before crossing over into Scouting America.
